Nicolette Larson (Helena, 17 de julho de 1952 – Los Angeles, 16 de dezembro de 1997) foi uma cantoraamericana mais conhecida por sua versão da canção de Neil Young "Lotta Love", em 1978. Esta canção, o seu single de estreia, foi número 1 na Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks e obteve a 8ª posição na lista pop
daquele ano. Sucederam-se mais quatro sucessos nessa categoria, dois
dos quais obtiveram algum resultado nas paradas pop. Em 1985 mudou o
foco da sua carreira para a música country, atingindo seis vezes as paradas de Hot Country Singles (hoje Hot Country Songs). O seu único sucesso no Top 40 Country foi "That's How You Know When Love's Right", um dueto com Steve Wariner.

Larson faleceu em 16 de dezembro de 1997 em Los Angeles, Califórnia em consequência de complicações de um edema cerebral desencadeado pela falência do fígado.
De acordo com a sua amiga, Astrid Young, Larson tinha tido sintomas de
depressão e o seu ataque fatal "estava em grande parte relacionado com um abuso crónico de Valium e de Tylenol".
O seu enterro foi feito em Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills Cemetery,
em Los Angeles. Um concerto beneficente foi feito em nome de Larson no
mês de fevereiro seguinte, assim como concertos de tributo no décimo
aniversário da sua morte, em dezembro de 2007 e também no ano seguinte.
Alex começou a sua carreira musical no estado de Maryland em 2003, quando tocava guitarra numa banda de pop punk chamada Fire in the Hole. Decidiu então formar uma nova banda com seus colegas de escola Rian Dawson e Jack Barakat - surgiu a banda All Time Low, ativa até aos dias de hoje.
Warren
é o mais velho dos quatro filhos de Jerry e Ellen Cuccurullo; teve dois
irmãos, Jerry e Robert, e uma irmã, Stephanie. Tem ascendência italiana
(originária da comuna de Nocera Inferiore, na região da Campania, na Itália) e também alguma ascendência grega. Cresceu no subúrbio de Canarsie, do Brooklyn, Nova York, e em 1974 graduou-se na Canarsie High School. Começou a tocar bateria e guitarra ainda criança.
Adotou uma criança, Mayko Cuccurullo (n. 7 de julho de 1983), que vive com a sua mãe, Claudia Bueno (ex-namorada de longa-data de Warren), no Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Mayko apareceu no vídeo Breath After Breath de Duran Duran, filmado em 1994, e também contribuiu em alguns coros no projeto N'Liten Up.
1986 - 2001: Duran Duran
Durante as gravações do álbum Notorious, o guitarrista original do Duran Duran, Andy Taylor,
resolveu deixar a banda, depois de desavenças artísticas e até mesmo
jurídicas. Cuccurullo conheceu Taylor enquanto tocava com este em
ensaios e "jams" da sua banda Missing Persons e, ao saber que Taylor não
tinha intenções de voltar aos Duran Duran, ofereceu os seus préstimos à
banda inglesa.
Os Duran Duran contrataram então Cuccurullo como guitarrista de
estúdio e depois para a turnê do álbum. Mais tarde, ele se tornaria
membro efetivo da banda até 2001, quando os Duran Duran resolveram voltar à
formação original.

Harold Forster Chapin (New York City, December 7, 1942 – East Meadow, New York, July 16, 1981) was an American
singer-songwriter, philanthropist, and hunger activist best known for
his folk rock and pop rock songs. He achieved worldwide success in the 1970s. Chapin, a Grammy Award-winning artist and Grammy Hall of Fame inductee, has sold over 16 million records worldwide.
Chapin recorded a total of 11 albums from 1972 until his death in
1981. All 14 singles that he released became hits on at least one
national music chart. Chapin's best-known songs include "Taxi" and "Cat's in the Cradle."
In the afternoon of July 16, 1981, Chapin was driving on the Long Island Expressway en route to perform at a free benefit concert at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York,
that evening. At 12:27 p.m., Chapin had reportedly put on his emergency
flashers, decelerated his vehicle's speed to 15 mph, and had weaved
from the far-left lane to the center lane, to the left lane, and then
back to the center lane before his vehicle was struck from behind by a semi-trailer truck.
The force of the collision crushed the rear of the car, ruptured the
fuel tank, and dragged the car several hundred feet on the pavement.
Passers-by managed to help the unconscious Chapin out of his engulfed
1975 Volkswagen Rabbit. He was immediately taken by helicopter from the crash site outside Jericho, New York, to the nearby Nassau County Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:05 p.m. due to internal bleeding.
Chapin's widow won a $12 million decision in a negligence lawsuit against Supermarkets General, the owners of the truck involved.
Chapin is buried in the Huntington Rural Cemetery in Huntington, New York. His epitaph is taken from his 1978 song "I Wonder What Would Happen to This World":

Thriller foi o sexto álbum de estúdio na carreira a solo de Michael Jackson, lançado a 30 de novembro de 1982, através da Epic Records. Assim como o álbum anterior do cantor, Off the Wall (1979), que foi aclamado e bem sucedido comercialmente, Thriller foi inteiramente produzido por Quincy Jones e co-produzido por Jackson. As gravações do projeto ocorreram entre 14 de abril a 8 de novembro de 1982 nos estúdios Westlake Recording.
O orçamento total para a produção do disco foi de 750 mil dólares,
financiados por Jones. Jackson compôs e co-produziu quatro das nove
faixas do disco. Musicalmente, Thriller explora géneros semelhantes aos usados em Off the Wall, incluindo o pop, o pop rock, o pós-disco e o funk, além de estilos suaves, como a música contemporânea e o R&B.
O álbum foi aclamado por fãs e pelos media especializados, que

Nascido perto de Brecon, País de Gales, Glover se mudou com sua família para St Helens antes de se instalar na área de South Kensington em Londres, com 10 anos de idade. Naquela época, os interesses de Glover começaram a direcionar-se para o rock,
e quando tinha treze anos, Glover começou a tocar guitarra. Ele mais
tarde mudou-se para o distrito de Pinner, no norte de Londres e,
enquanto estudava na Harrow County School for Boys, formou sua primeira
banda, Madison, com um grupo de amigos, que mais tarde se fundiu com uma
banda rival para se tornar nos Episode Six, uma banda que tinha Ian
Gillan. Os dois deixaram a banda em 1969 para se juntar aos Deep Purple.

Em 1988, Glover e o colega dos Deep Purple, Ian Gillan, gravaram
um álbum, como projeto paralelo à banda, Accidentally on Purpose. Quase
duas décadas depois, Glover tocou com Ian Gillan durante a breve turnê
de Gillan, a solo, em 2006.
Em 2002, Glover lançou o seu quarto álbum a solo, intitulado
Snapshot, sob o nome de Roger Glover & The Guilty Party. O álbum
contou com performances de Randall Bramblett (com quem compartilhou os
créditos de várias faixas), bem como a filha de Glover, Gillian.
Em 2011, Glover lançou o seu quinto álbum solo, If Life Was Easy,
que contou com participações especiais de Dan McCafferty, dos Nazareth, e
Pete Agnew, bem como Gallay Walther e Daniel "Sahaj" Ticotin.
Christine Anne McVie, néePerfect
(Greenodd, 12 July 1943 – London, 30 November 2022) was an English musician, singer and
songwriter. She was best known as keyboardist and one of the vocalists
of Fleetwood Mac.
McVie was a member of several bands, notably Chicken Shack, in the mid-1960s British Blues scene. She began working with Fleetwood Mac in 1968, initially as a session player, before joining the band in 1970. Her first compositions with Fleetwood Mac appeared on their fifth album, Future Games. She remained with the band through many changes of line-up, writing songs and performing lead vocals
before partially retiring in 1998. McVie was described as "the prime
mover behind some of Fleetwood Mac's biggest hits" and eight songs she
wrote or co-wrote, including "Don't Stop", "Everywhere" and "Little Lies", appeared on Fleetwood Mac's 1988 Greatest Hits album. She appeared as a session musician on the band's last studio album, Say You Will. She also released three solo studio albums.
As a member of Fleetwood Mac, McVie was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in 1998 received the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music.
In the same year, after almost 30 years with Fleetwood Mac, she left
the band and lived in semi-retirement, releasing a solo album in 2004.
She appeared on stage with Fleetwood Mac at the O2 Arena in London in September 2013 and rejoined the band in 2014 prior to their On with the Show tour.
McVie married John McVie in 1968, with Peter Green as best man. Instead of a honeymoon, they celebrated at a hotel in Birmingham with Joe Cocker, who happened to be staying there,
before going on the road with their own bands. The couple divorced in
1976, but remained friends and maintained a professional partnership. During the production of Rumours, Christine had an affair with Fleetwood Mac's lighting engineer, Curry Grant, which inspired the song "You Make Loving Fun". From 1979 to 1982, she dated Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys.
McVie married Portuguese keyboardist and songwriter Eddy Quintela on 18
October 1986. Quintela and McVie collaborated on a number of songs
together, including "Little Lies". They divorced in 2003, and Quintela died in 2020.
During the height of Fleetwood Mac's success in the 1970s, McVie
resided in Los Angeles in a house that had previously been owned by Joan Collins and by Elton John. In 1990, she moved to a Grade II-listed Tudor manor house in Wickhambreaux, near Canterbury
in Kent, to which she retired after leaving Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and
worked on her solo material. For years McVie found inspiration in the
home's country setting, not only writing songs there, but also restoring
the house. After rejoining Fleetwood Mac in 2014, she began spending
more time in London, and put the house on the market in 2015.

McVie died in hospital on 30 November 2022, at the age of 79.
Her death was announced by her family through social media. In a
statement following her death, Fleetwood Mac said that she was "the best
musician anyone could have in their band and the best friend anyone
could have in their life". Fellow band member Stevie Nicks said McVie
had been her "best friend in the whole world". According to her death certificate revealed in April 2023, McVie died of a stroke and suffered from metastatic cancer of unknown primary origin.

comparece com uma composição própria "Don't Bother Me" neste trabalho,
cuja música mais conhecida acabou por ser "All My Loving".
É popularmente conhecido como The White Album (O Álbum Branco), por não ter nome, e ser apenas um fundo branco com o nome da banda em relevo. A capa foi criada pelo artista pop Richard Hamilton e o título original era para ser A Doll’s House,
mas uma banda britânica chamada Family, já tinha lançado um álbum com
nome similar. Foi o primeiro disco lançado após a morte do managerBrian Epstein.
Em 1997, O Álbum Branco foi nomeado o décimo melhor disco de todos os tempos pela "Music of the Millennium" da Classic FM. Em 1998 a Q Magazine colocou-o em 17° lugar e, em 2000, em 7° lugar. A Rolling Stone
colocou-o como o décimo entre 500 álbuns e o canal VH1 no 11° lugar.
De acordo com a Associação da Indústria de Discos da América, o disco é
19 vezes disco de platina e o décimo disco mais vendido nos Estados
Unidos.
Michael falou com a ex-namorada Michelle Bennett, com quem combinou
um almoço no dia seguinte. Michelle passou logo de manhã, no dia 22, no
quarto de Michael, mas presumiu que este estava dormindo, já que não
obteve resposta deste. Foi uma empregada que abriu a porta e encontrou
Michael sem vida, logo após. Ele havia morrido enforcado com o próprio
cinto, preso à maçaneta da porta.
Apesar de suspeita de asfixia autoerótica, a versão oficial diz que se enforcou com um cinto.
Segundo Rhett, irmão de Michael, o quarto estava todo revirado. O pai de
Michael, Kelland Hutchence, ficou sabendo da morte do filho por um
telefonema de uma rede de TV. Paula logo viajou para a Austrália com a
filha Tiger.
A cerimónia ocorreu na igreja de Santo André, em Sydney, com
transmissão nacional. Milhares de pessoas acompanharam do lado de fora
da catedral. O caixão de Michael foi coberto por flores (Iris) e uma única tigerlily (lírio), representando a filha. Ele foi cremado e parte das cinzas foram espalhadas em Sydney.
Peter John Cox (Kingston upon Thames, 17 November 1955) is an English singer-songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the English popduoGo West. As a solo artist, he scored three top 40 hits on the UK Singles Chart in the 1990s.
Early career and Go West
Peter John Cox sang in his school choir and later as a chorister at The Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace. In his early twenties, he worked in a cover band for the Mecca Organisation. In 1978, he joined Terra Nova, a band put together by former Manfred Mann's Earth Band members Chris Slade and Colin Pattenden; they released an album in 1980. While in residency in a Sheffield nightclub, Cox began writing with longtime collaborator Richard Drummie, with whom he eventually signed a publishing deal.
In 1982, Cox and Drummie formed the band Go West, with Cox as lead vocalist and Drummie on guitar and backing vocals. After Go West signed a deal with Chrysalis Records, "We Close Our Eyes" became a top 5hit on the UK Singles Chart in 1985. Other Go West singles released that year included "Call Me" (1985) and "Don't Look Down". The following year, Go West was named 'Best Newcomer' at the 1986 Brit Awards.
In 1987, the band reached the top 40 in the US with the single "Don't Look Down – The Sequel". In 1990, Go West had a No. 8 hit in the US with "King of Wishful Thinking" from the film Pretty Woman. In 1992, the duo released their third studio album Indian Summer, which included "Faithful"; the song reached the top 20 in Canada and the United States.
Solo career
Cox moved to Los Angeles in 1993 to pursue a solo career. His self-titled debut studio album, Peter Cox, was released in 1997 to critical acclaim. Subsequent albums include Flame Still Burns (2001), Nine Miles High (2002), Desert Blooms (2002), Game for Fools (2005) and Motor City Music (2006). Cox also teamed up with Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet on the album Tony Hadley vs Peter Cox & Go West, released in 2004.
In 2003, Cox replaced Then Jerico's Mark Shaw on the British reality television show Reborn in the USA
after Shaw quit the series in the show's first few days. Even though
Cox had achieved previous success across the Atlantic as the lead
vocalist of Go West, he was able to appear on the show as he was unknown
in the US as a solo artist. He was a favourite to win but was voted off
in New York after he forgot the lyrics to the Norah Jones hit he was performing.
Other albums by Cox include The S1 Sessions (2010), Riding the Blinds (2012), and Damn the Brakes (2013).
Cox's voice has been described as "smooth as silk" with a "gritty underbelly".
Chad Robert Kroeger (néTurton;
born November 15, 1974, in Hanna, Alberta) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, musician, and
producer. He is best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of rock band Nickelback.
In addition to his work with Nickelback, Kroeger has been involved with
a variety of collaborations, appearing as a guest musician in several
songs and has contributed in both production and songwriting. He has
co-written several songs for other artists and films.
