Wilkeson died in his sleep on July 27, 2001, at age 49 at the
Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Beach Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
He was pronounced dead by St Johns County Fire Rescue Paramedic,
Charlie Galambos. Galambos reports that leaving the scene moments after
pronouncing Wilkeson dead, news had already leaked to the media, as he
listened to the report on local FM radio. Wilkeson was in town to
address charges of driving under the influence, for which he had been
cited earlier that year. A medical examiner reported that Wilkeson was
suffering from chronic liver and lung disease and died of natural
causes.
Wilkeson's death put the group in a difficult position since an
agreement with Ronnie Van Zant's widow, Judy Jenness, mandated that at
least three of Skynyrd's longtime members would have to appear in order
for the band to use the name Lynyrd Skynyrd. Jenness waived this
proviso, and the group continued with replacement bassist Ean Evans.
Lynyrd Skynyrd dedicated the song "Mad Hatter" from their 2003 album Vicious Cycle to Wilkeson's memory.

Nas décadas de 80 e de 90,
Adam apostou nos efeitos, com ênfase ao uso de "slaps", e
"distorções". O baixista prefere um som mais puro e direto do seu
instrumento. Seja qual for a abordagem, o "jazzman" da banda (assim
chamado pelo vocalista da banda, Bono Vox) continua imprevisível e criativo. Adam é também responsável pelo site oficial da banda, U2.com, tendo entregue a gestão ao seu irmão Sebastian.
O estilo do baixo de Squire era melódico, dinâmico e agressivo, a sua marca pessoal. Ele usava caracteristicamente o baixo Rickenbacker 4001, que, com os seus ajustes pessoais, gerava um timbre inconfundível. Squire foi considerado o 18º melhor baixista do milénio, numa lista divulgada pela revista Guitar há poucos anos.
Em maio de 2015 foi-lhe diagnosticada leucemia e por isso afastou-se das atividades dos Yes, para fazer tratamento. Em 28 de junho de 2015, o teclista Geoff Downes postou, na sua conta de Twitter, que Squire falecera, de complicações decorrentes da doença.
Jason Curtis Newsted (Battle Creek, 4 de março de 1963) é um baixista e vocalistanorte-americano mais conhecido pelo seu trabalho na banda Metallica, que também foi membro dos Voivod, após a saída dos Metallica. Jason é o fundador da Chophouse Records, um selo de gravação com sede na Califórnia. O seu último trabalho razoavelmente relevante foi como frontman da banda NEWSTƎD de 2012 a 2014.
Kelly Groucutt (born Michael William Groucutt; Coseley, 8 September 1945 – Worcester, 19 February 2009) was an English musician, and bassist and occasional vocalist for the English rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), between 1974 and 1983. He was born in Coseley, West Midlands.
Early career
Groucutt
began his musical career at 15 as Rikki Storm of Rikki Storm and the
Falcons. He sang with multiple outfits during the 1960s, picking up the
guitar as he went along. Groucutt was also a member of a band called "Sight and Sound", and later with a band called "Barefoot".
Electric Light Orchestra
While playing with Barefoot in Birmingham, he was spotted by ELO's Jeff Lynne; and after Lynne, Bev Bevan and Richard Tandy had watched him play, he was invited to join ELO, to replace Mike de Albuquerque, who had recently left the band.
Upon joining, he was asked to adopt a stage name because ELO had
already had several members named Michael, Mike or Mik; he chose Kelly
as being a school nickname. ELO then set off on their Eldorado tour. The first Electric Light Orchestra album to feature Kelly on bass guitar and as a backing vocalist was Face the Music
(1975). He assumed lead vocal duties on one or two album tracks
typically, and his vocals can be heard on later ELO songs, most
prominently on songs such as "Nightrider"
(1975), "Poker" (1975), "Above the Clouds" (1976), "Across the Border"
(1977), "Night in the City" (1977), "Sweet is the Night" (1977) and "The Diary of Horace Wimp" (1979). Groucutt often displayed his operatic vocal talents during live performances of "Rockaria!" (1976), though these were not performed in the studio.
Groucutt continued contributing on the albums A New World Record (1976), Out of the Blue (1977), Discovery (1979), Xanadu (1980), Time (1981), and the early sessions for Secret Messages (1983). By Discovery,
Groucutt's role in the band was reduced by Lynne from co-lead vocals to
backing vocals exclusively, as well as his duties on bass.
In 1982, he released his self-titled, debut solo album, Kelly. This album featured fellow ELO members Bev Bevan, Richard Tandy, Mik Kaminski and their orchestral co-arranger and conductor Louis Clark.[8] In 2001, the album was remastered for CD.
Groucutt remained with ELO until the onset of the recording sessions for the album Secret Messages
in 1982. It was at this juncture that he left the band, unhappy with
royalty payments during his tenure, and made the decision to sue
management and band leader Jeff Lynne.
A settlement for the sum of £300,000 (equivalent to £1,019,700 in 2019)
was reached out of court prior to proceedings. He is credited with
playing bass on Secret Messages, although the 2018 album liner notes state that he only played on four songs ("Train of Gold" and "Rock n Roll is King" from the single disc release and "No Way Out" and "Beatles Forever") from the original double album.
During the mid-to-late 1980s, Groucutt worked further on his solo career, including the We Love Animals EP in 1985 to benefit the RSPCA.
OrKestra
In the late 1980s, he and former band mate Mik Kaminski
formed the group OrKestra. The pair quickly became dissatisfied with
the poor promotion and record label the band received, especially as
their first album, Beyond The Dream was delayed. Though at least one song was ready for use in the 1989 film Summer Job,
the album itself was not released until 1991. By that point, Kaminski
and Groucutt, joined by fellow ELO member Hugh McDowell, had guest
starred in a tour with ELO Part II. In 1992, Groucutt and Kaminski both joined ELO Part II.
In 1993, the group's second album, Roll Over Beethoven was
released under the OrKestra name, though by that point the band was
seemingly defunct. It included more material from Groucutt and
Kaminski's tenure in the band. It is unknown if OrKestra continued on
after the two left.
ELO Part II and The Orchestra
During
his time in ELO Part II, Groucutt frequently shared lead vocal duties
with Neil Lockwood, Phil Bates, Peter Haycock, and Eric Troyer. However,
Haycock and Lockwood both left the band shortly after Groucutt's
arrival. When the group released Moment of Truth,
Groucutt contributed the song "The Fox", and co-wrote "Blue Violin" and
"Twist of the Knife". Groucutt also appeared on the live albums Performing ELO's Greatest Hits Live and One Night - Live in Australia.
While Groucutt was primarily the group's bassist, during some songs he would play guitar instead.
When Bev Bevan sold his half of the rights to ELO back to Jeff
Lynne in 1999, Groucutt chose to remain with the group. It was renamed The Orchestra,
in an attempt to get past Lynne's refusal to allow this group to bank
on the past reputation of Groucutt, Kaminski, and Clark. He again made
writing contributions to the group's next album, No Rewind, by co-writing the closing track, "Before We Go".
Personal life
Kelly
Groucutt was married twice. His first marriage produced three sons
(Christopher, Steven, and Robin) and a daughter (Jenny). The birth of
his fourth child was around the same time he began to depart from ELO.
In 2006, Groucutt wed Anna-Maria Bialaga. They remained married until his death.
Death
On 18
February 2009, Groucutt returned from a sell-out show with The Orchestra
in Berlin. He suffered a heart attack shortly after, and died on the
19th at the Royal Worcester Hospital in Worcester. His family held a
small, exclusive concert with members from The Orchestra in his memory.
After a successful crowdfunding campaign was held by his family, a
plaque commemorating Groucutt was placed at his childhood home, where
his family lived from 1937 to 1992.

Cliff estava a dormir quando, de acordo com o motorista, o autocarro da
banda derrapou no gelo acumulado na estrada e capotou, na comuna de Ljungby, perto de Dörarp, numa região rural do sul da Suécia. Cliff, no beliche de cima, foi atirado para fora do autocarro, que, ao capotar, caiu em cima dele, matando-o.
Jeremy cresceu com seu pai sempre apresentando a ele novos tipos de
música. Quando tinha 15 anos seu pai deu a ele um baixo e ensinou a
tocar. No colegial, suas bandas favoritas eram MxPx e Rancid, daí ele
começou a ouvir bandas da gravadora Drive-Thru Records e outras bandas
que gostava, como Beloved, Underoath e The Chariot. Seu irmão estava em
uma banda que precisava de um guitarrista, então Jeremy pegou uma
guitarra emprestada, aprendeu sozinho como tocar e entrou para a banda.
Depois, ele teve a oportunidade de entrar em uma outra banda, chamada
Our Hearts Hero, quando tinha 19 anos, e ele tocou com eles por mais ou
menos 1 ano. Jeremy também tocou baixo por uma banda chamada The Factory onde conheceu Hayley.
No verão seguinte Jeremy conheceu Josh e Zac
quando Hayley o convidou para tocar baixo na banda deles, e eles
começaram a sair sempre que tinham algum tempo livre em Franklin. Jeremy
sempre brincava com eles que, se algum dia eles precisassem de um
terceiro guitarrista, deveria ser ele. Jeremy Davis rapidamente entrou
em sintonia com o restante do grupo e em 2004 os quatro membros
decidiram oficialmente formar uma banda chamada paramore, embora Davis ainda não tivesse mergulhado de cabeça na ideia.
Na Warped Tour de 2005, em Atlanta, Jeremy foi com os caras e
quando ele os viu tocar ele sabia que era aquilo que queria fazer. Para
sua surpresa, em dezembro de 2005, Jeremy recebeu um telefonema de Josh,
dizendo que eles precisavam de um baixista. Jeremy estava tão empolgado
porque iria ter a oportunidade de entrar na banda com eles e tocar o
que gostava. Ele, que estava na California na época, pegou o primeiro
voo para Nashville e tem tocado com Paramore desde então. Pouco antes do
lançamento do álbum All We Know Is Falling, Jeremy deixou a banda por razões pessoais. Hayley e Josh escreveram a música "All We Know" sobre a saída dele, porém 5 meses depois Davis retornaria a banda.
No dia 30 de setembro de 2011, Jeremy casou-se com Kathryn Camsey.
Dia 11 de agosto de 2013 ele anunciou que Kathryn estava grávida. Eles
mantiveram a gravidez escondida por 5 meses e no dia 28 de dezembro de
2013 a menina nasceu.
No dia 14 de dezembro de 2015, a conta oficial do Paramore no Facebook notificou que Jeremy estava saindo da banda por motivos pessoais, deixando o grupo com apenas dois membros.

Richard Raymond Finch ou apenas Richard Finch (Indianápolis, Indiana, 23 de janeiro de
1954) é um compositor, produtor, engenheiro e
procurador musical. Ele é mais conhecido como ser um dos fundadores,
produtor e ex-baixista do KC and the Sunshine Band.
