Stone Carpenter Gossard (Seattle, July 20, 1966) is an American musician who serves as a guitarist and co-lyricist for the rock band Pearl Jam. Along with Jeff Ament, Mike McCready, and Eddie Vedder, he is one of the founding members of the band.
Gossard is also known for his work prior to Pearl Jam with the Seattle-based grunge bands Green River and Mother Love Bone. Gossard was also a member of the bands Temple of the Dog and Brad.
In addition to his performing career, he has been active in the music
industry as a producer and the owner of a record label and recording
studio. He released his first solo album Bayleaf in 2001; his second, Moonlander, followed in 2013.

Before Sigue Sigue Sputnik he had worked selling clothes, and he was
spotted by Tony James and Neal X while dancing in his Yaya boutique. Degville's former flat-mate is Boy George, and George worked in Degville's shop (Degville's Dispensary) during the time that he lived in Walsall. Degville was also a fashion designer who styled Sigue Sigue Sputnik's original image, and musical style.
Further Sigue Sigue Sputnik hits include "21st Century Boy", "Sex Bomb
Boogie", "Success", "Dancerama", "Albinoni vs Star Wars" and "Rio
Rocks". Tony James reformed the band in 2001 with Degville and Neal X and released the album Piratespace.
In 2000. A tribute to Elvis Presley, "Blak Elvis" was released shortly
afterwards and then "Ultra Real". Degville then left the band to
pursue a solo career with Sputnik2. He released an EP, Smart1 which featured UK House vocalist Simon Green
on backing vocals, and has since worked with UK record producers
DiscoKingz on tracks including "Planit Bi", "Don't Dabble with the
Devil", "The Man Who Fell 2 Earth", "Fascination" and "Experimental 2 +
3" remix albums. His debut solo album, World War Four, was released in 1991.
In 2006 Martin Degville appeared as a Mystery Guest on BBC TV's comedy panel game "Never Mind the Buzzcocks".
In 2007 Degville recorded his first album since World War Four, entitled Prophet of Freak.
In 2008, while working on Prophet of Freak, Degville released an album G.O.D., Guns, Oil, Drugs.
Mid way through 2009 Martin started to play live as Sigue Sigue Sputnik Electronic(SSSE).
This new incarnation of Sputnik aimed to take the original songs and
present them in a new electro style. Martin is now in the process of
re-recording the first two Sigue Sigue Sputnik albums with producer
Lloyd Price. Sigue Sigue Sputnik Electronic have been approached by
numeorus bands for remixes. To date SSSE have remixed one track,
"CONsume" by South African Goth/Metal band Terminatryx.

Brian sempre foi alvo de muitas críticas quando esteve faculdade de Arte Dramática em Londres. Vivia sozinho já desde os 17 anos, longe dos pais. Brian afirmou a sua independência e dedicava-se muito aos estudos dramáticos, porém, a sua paixão pela música era mais forte, e todo o seu dramatismo foi despejado em composições musicais.
Brian foi uma pessoa muito reprimida pelos pais, que fizeram de tudo para ele seguir uma carreira tradicional, porém, foi tudo em vão. Ele diz gostar muito de passar horas sozinho em casa, com as luzes apagadas, ouvindo a sua própria música bem alto, beber uísque e fumar cigarros mentolados, o que aparentemente o leva ao transe.
Vida pessoal
Brian Molko teve recentemente um filho com Helena Berg, fotógrafa, ao qual deu o nome de Cody. Ele diz que o nome é uma homenagem a um amigo que morreu em um acidente de carro, mas algumas pessoas acreditam que o nome é uma referência ao álbum da banda Mogwai, Come On Die Young. Em junho de 2009, ele e Helena já não estavam juntos, passando a ser pai solteiro. Molko é assumidamente bisexual.
