Conferência em Coimbra - Shale Gas Perspectives

À semelhança de anos anteriores, a EAGE (European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers) patrocina uma conferência no Departamento de Ciências da Terra, desta vez subordinada ao tema:

“Shale Gas Perspectives”
"Perspectivas da Exploração de Gás em Xistos"

A conferência terá lugar no próximo dia 7 de março, 4ª -feira, no Anfiteatro A1, das 14.00 às 17.00, no Departamento de Ciências da Terra da Universidade de Coimbra e será apresentada pelo Dr Konrad  Rockenbauch.

Breve biografia do conferencista

Konrad Rockenbauch graduated with a sedimentological Diploma thesis, he also holds a PhD from Stuttgart University (structural geology, 1984). He has worked for BEB (subsidiary of Shell and Exxon) in NW Europe where he was involved in basin dynamics, inversion and salt tectonics as well as in carbonate reservoir geology.
Konrad was head of “Geological Services” and in his function as “Geological Technical Expert” he acted also as liaison to academia and to the technical laboratories of BEBs shareholders.
In his role as coordinator of a multidisciplinary tight gas project he gained first experience in unconventional reservoirs before moving to Vienna where he is part of RAGs “Unconventional Team” and involved in RAGs “Shale Gas” activities.
