Mark Knopfler - 73 anos...!

    

Mark Freuder Knopfler (Glasgow, 12 de agosto de 1949) é um guitarrista, cantor e compositor britânico da banda de rock Dire Straits. Considerado por muitos um génio da guitarra, é bastante conhecido, principalmente pelo seu estilo peculiar de tocar guitarra. É mais reconhecido pelo seu trabalho com a banda Dire Straits, que liderou de 1977 até 1994, do que pela sua carreira a solo, embora continue a dar concertos por todo o mundo e esgote consecutivamente salas de espetáculos históricas como o Royal Albert Hall, de Londres.

Guy Fletcher (Maidstone, Kent, 24 de maio de 1960) foi o teclista da banda Dire Straits. Entrou para a banda nas gravações do álbum Brothers in Arms, de 1985. Permaneceu até ao fim da banda, em 1994, juntamente com o outro teclista, Allan Clark.

Atualmente acompanha Mark Knopfler na sua carreira a solo.
