Porque hoje é o Dia Mundial da Dança

O Dia Internacional da Dança vem sendo celebrado no dia 29 de Abril, promovido pelo Conselho Internacional de Dança (CID), uma organização interna da UNESCO para todos tipos de dança.

A comemoração foi introduzida em 1992 pelo Comitê Internacional da Dança da UNESCO. A data comemora o nascimento de Jean-George Noverre (1727-1810), o criador do balet moderno.

David Bowie (nome artístico de David Robert Haywood-Jones, Londres, 8 de Janeiro de 1947) é um músico e actor britânico, conhecido pelo seu trabalho musical nos anos 70 e 80 e pela sua alta influência no mundo da música, especificamente no rock. David Bowie já vendeu cerca de 136 milhões de álbuns no mundo inteiro.

É conhecido também pela atuação em filmes como The Man Who Fell to Earth, The Hunger, Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence e Labyrinth.

É casado com a modelo somali Iman Abdulmajid desde 1992. Tem dois filhos: Alexandria Zhara, nascida em 2000 e Duncan Zowie Haywood Jones (nascido em 1971, fruto de seu casamento com Angela Bowie).
