Ben E. King, nome artístico de Benjamin Earl Nelson (Henderson, 28 de setembro de 1938 - Hackensack, 30 de abril de 2015), foi um cantor de soul norte-americano. Nasceu em Henderson, Carolina do Norte, mas mudou-se para o Harlem, em New York, com 9 anos. Ele é talvez mais conhecido como vocalista e co-compositor da música Stand by Me do álbum Don't Play That Song, gravado em 1961 e lançado em 1962 pela gravadora Atco Records.
